Al Duca, set in London's Piccadilly is approaching its tenth birthday. Opened in 1999 as part of the Pulze's 'Cuisine Collection' restaurant group, Al Duca's offers fine Italian food that has earned it a legion of loyal diners. The restaurant itself uses traditional Italian colours to evoke a warm and inviting feel; terracotta, olive and stone along with oak timber and mosaic tiling are used to great effect. The menu is suitably Italian, offering dishes such as tiger prawns with saffron vinaigrette, clam, garlic and chilli oil linguini and calf's liver with spinach, raisins and pine nuts. Three courses here cost an average of £40 per person which could be an offer you can't refuse!

Since then, this buzzy Dover Street restaurant has become popular with both fashionable local residents and the Mayfair business trade. Keeping to a simple formula of serving Italian favourites, all pastas and breads are made on the premises and the seasonal menu always pleases. Alloro also boasts Il Baretto, an authentic and typical Italian bar where one can unwind Italian style with an aperitivo before your meal. Opened in September 2009, Apsleys, a Heinz Beck Restaurant is the first restaurant outside Italy created by internationally renowned chef, Heinz Beck, holder of three Michelin stars at La Pergola in Rome. Heinz Beck soon earned the restaurant its own Michelin Star, when in February 2010 it became the fastest London establishment to be bestowed with the award and maintained this award onwards. Apsleys? stunning Venetian-style dining room, with its glass roof and plush upholstery, is one of the most beautiful spaces for dining in London, an elegant setting for any occasion. Overseen by Beck and run by Executive Chef Heros De Agostinis, who used to work with Heinz Beck in Rome. Beck has created a menu that focuses on lighter Mediterranean-inspired dishes and is concerned with keeping dishes healthy and as approachable as they are exciting.
