Starters include skewers of kidney, bacon and mushrooms rolled in herbs; fritos variados, a selection of vegetables deep-fried in a thin batter and also sopa de picadillo, a chicken broth with rice. Main courses include cocido Madrile-o, poached meats with white beans and cabbage, and char-grilled lamb chops with chickpea and onions and quince alioli. Expect to pay around £32 per person including drinks.
