One of two Bella Italias found along Queensway in central London, this particular branch can be found closer to the Westbourne Grove end. Offering an attractive pavement terrace to the front of the restaurant, perfect for al fresco dining and people watching at the same time, Bella Italia is an attractive proposition for a bite to eat Italian style. The menu is full of classic Italian dishes from pizza to pasta and grills to salads. Why not start with a delicious Formaggio Fritto (mozzarella, fontina and parmesan cheese in breadcrumbs, deep fried and served with a sweet red onion jam) and follow with a bowl of Spaghetti Gamberi (spaghetti with prawns, spicy Italian tomato sauce and a skewer of king prawns). The all Italian wine list offers a good selection of reds, whites and rosés and the dessert list ensures things are ended on a high.
This was probably one of the first pasta chain restaurants. It still delivers the goods and is value for money. They also do Pizza and salad dishes.
