Food RatingHated the food! Service RatingLiked the service Ambience RatingThe ambience was okay

Great.... except for the food which was pre-cooked and re-heated and arrived 3 minutes (during a busy time ) after ordering and was only lukewarm !

The skill involved preparing what we were served was so basic it was laughable ...melted cheese on everything!

Defintely not a taste of Spain

On Thursday evening my friend and I ate at La Tasca-Ealing Broadway for the first time ever. I was taken back by the immediate friendliness as soon as we entered. Even though it is a smoking restaurant, we were taken to the few tables that were non-smoking. We were very comfortable and well taken care of. It was a cosy atmosphere in the candlelit corner surrounded by spanish decor. Once getting over the hurdle of ordering to the Spanish waiter in Spanglish, (plus I forgot my reading glasses at home-which did not help!), I felt more relaxed. The food was delicious and good value for money. The music played gently in the background as my friend and I chatted non-stop until it was time to leave! Thanks La Tasca for an enjoyable evening! We want to come back to try your salsa evening and also the flamenco night!

Food and service was great but ambience was spoilt by the 'authentic' live Spanish music and flamenco dancing which was simply too loud and went on too long
