Took a new girl friend there last saturday evening and it was spectacular. This place oozes style and pedigree in an easy friendly way.

We started with raw Tuna with Artichoke and Walnut salad..... and Seared Scallops with lemongrass Veloute- both look stunning and tasted wonderful. We followed that with Venison on the main course, it was a roasted loin, with a foie gras side dish, cabbage and swede with thyme sauce, very seasonal, big flavours and agin amazing!!!

We shared a plate of cheese to finish, a small trolley and a great tour through all the regions of France, served with home made cheese biscuits.

We had coffee and petit fours and got a table full of chocolates and home cakes, amazing!!!!

This cost 191, with a drinks on arrival and a modest bottle of wine.

The girlfriend was very impressed, I would recommend it!!!!

One of the best meals or actually , two of the best meals I have eaten in London.
Pied a terre gave me two at least of the best taste experiences of my not short life, their ddep fried quail eggs on the amuse bouche kept me guessing untill the excellent Maitre D . illuminated me of the secret on our next visit. I cannot praise it enough

The gastronomic menu was excellent, with an imaginative blend of flavours and textures.  Accompanying the eight delicate dishes, you can opt for a well-choosen wine menu that matches wines to each of the dishes.  We opted for the half glasses and certainly were merry enough with the seven wines (plus aperitif) that full glasses probably would have had us under the table.

A lovely ambiance and service was attentive but not tooooo smothering!
