Food RatingLoved the food! Service RatingLiked the service Ambience RatingLiked the ambience

The food was unbelievable, I agree with the other reviewer in that I have never tasted Thai food like this before and unless I go back, I never will. Ever dish was amazing and this was matched by the service. We were looked after by a French waiter who knew the ins and outs of every dish and patiently helped us as we were confused by the unique lay out of the menu.
The atmosphere was very well to do but relaxing. Six of us went for my fathers 60th and it was a perfect meal. If you are trying to impress someone, celebrate something special or you are a complete 'foody' (and don't mind spending a bit of dosh!) then go to Nahm!

Outstanding food, but unfortunately the service was one of the worst in any restaurant at any price.

Firstly let me say the food was sublime. I have never had Thai food of this calibre, anywhere, period.

But 6 of us paid a total of well over 400 GBP for lunch and when it came to paying they brought back credit card after credit card, claiming that the cards were spent out. They actually claimed in one case they had telephoned the credit card company and lied that the credit card was over limit, because after around 20 minutes they had to admit that the problem was with there own transaction machine, and even after that we waited at least another for them to take down the details maually. They also attempted to charge us for 14 beers when we had had only 7. Well, it was really a ridiculous fiasco.

Moreover, the waiter was unable to explain how the set menu worked and insisted that the soup must come with the main course, so we waitied along time for the food and then could not eat everything before it was cold. Overall it was an uncomfortable experience by the end and had I had not been with friends all of this would have been extremely embarrassing. This place needs a management shake-up.
