The food was a bit disappointing, but the service was wonderful and friendly and the sangria was very refreshing (a bit too sweet, but we still drank many, many pitchers of it). Going with a large group, it was easy to order the tapas tasting menu - included a lot of variety of dishes such as meatballs, marinated chicken, calamari, rice, etc. The chicken I thought was tender and tasty, but the rest of the dishes were a bit bland. I'd definitely go back for a glass of sangria and maybe an appetizer, but I might move elsewhere for dinner. Desserts were good, though (I don't get how a Spanish restaurant serves tiramisu, but it was good).

This restaurant was a pleasant surprise.  After galavanting around the other side of town (by Old Street) in a practically abandoned area, we decided to take the tube to Victoria Street.  Although the directions given by this site are not that accurate (it is on the other end of the street), we finally found Goya and were seated immediately.  The service was terrific, the food was great (the lamb tapas especially), and the sangria fabulous.  It was a good representation of Spanish tapas.

My friend and I found Goya's by doing a Google search. I checked the reviews and no one had anything bad or negative to say; all the reviews were great. We went to London last week and were not disappointed; in fact, we are going back to Goya's again next week-end.We had the tapas-meatballs, a crab/shrip tapa, patatas- bravas, and 2 other dishes and they were absolutelty fantastic!! Never have we ate food so delicious anywhere else! The service was quick and very friendly. At the end, the owner asked how we liked the food and when he found out that we were so stuffed, we couldn't move, he invited us to relax and linger as long as we wanted. The restaurant has a wonderful Spanish atmosphere and they were understanding as I tried out my limited Spanish. If you go to London and do not stop here to eat, you are missing a real special treat! I highly recommend Goya's-Belgravia- and give it 10 out of 10 stars!!!

Delicious paella, tapas and sangria! A non-smoking section and live music in a lovely setting. One of the best I've been to, definately recommended!
