Food RatingThe food was okay Service RatingThe service was okay Ambience RatingHated the ambience!

I went to Sugar Reef with high expectations and was very dissapointed. The place seemed filled with office girls and there was none of the glamour or hip factor I was expecting. Ok, this was a Tuesday night, but still, I was hoping for some 'ambience' in this famous Soho restaurant. The food was OK, although they had run out of 'foie gras' which was a bitter dissapointment. The corn chicken was tasty but had a strong taste of pop corn and was a bit too salty. The staff were nice and you could tell they were trying to make up for the non existant foie gras, however, the place quickly emptied out around 9pm and there was absolutely no one in the downstairs club.Thank god they didn't slap on the all famous 30 service charge! Fortunately I went there in good company and this saved the evening.

Personally, although the food and service are great, I found the place a little too big and lacking atmosphere
