We went to this restaurant after booking a holiday through lastminute.com who then offered a 2 course meal and glass of champagne at any London Conran restaurant for 15-50. All the reviews for the restaurants were bad, so we just pciked the one nearest our hotel. We booked for noon and were the only ones there.

The offer menu was very limited  - two starters, main courses and sweets, the 'theatre menu'. However though the choice was limited the food was excellent. My wife had roast chicken on a bed of olive oil mashed potato while I had perfectly grilled salmon on a bed of spinach. Both were delicious. The accompanying bread was also lovely and not at all stale.

For dessert my wife had tiramisu, which was of a superb flavour and consistency, while I had a 'petit pot au chocolat' which was as you would expect a small pot, but it needed to be as it was deliciously rich.

The staff were extremely helpful and apologetic for the delay in getting our main courses, even though as far as we were concerned there was no delay. They insisted we had complimentary coffees after our meal because of this 'delay'.

The location of the restaurant is excellent. It's like a piece of Brussells, a quiet street of restaurants hidden just behind the hustle of Regent Street. Maybe it's different in the evenings, but we found the lunchtime visit brilliant and will certainly be going back to sample the expensive menu next time we're in town.
