Would have had lots of positive things to say had it not been for the complete and utter rudeness of the man taking the bookings. Not sure what his problem is but if they continue to use this man as their bookings ambassador then they are on the fast path to closure.

The man is arrogant and extremely unfriendly...if you go check he is not on the premises first. Such a shame to have such a bad seed in such a fantastic 'quirky' restaurant.

As an Austrian myself with a boyfriend from Nz I thought it was the perfect venue to celebrate his birthday! Unfortunately we didnt get to see the cowbell show or any jodeling- but the Steins kept us going till closing time! We even ended u dancing between the tables! It was a great night out - too good almost as not all of our group made it to work to morning after! Even tough they were so busy that night it was no problem for them to just make up a special meal for me- vegans dodnt usually find food on the menu that easily- specially with meatloving Austrians!! Thanks again for a great night out!

lovely place. Been there once and absolutely loved it. a lot of character, very cosy and very traditional. multilingual staff, very friendly. customers from all over the world, each bringing a piece of their culture into this small but welcoming austrian pub. (bartender gets a separate 10)

It's definitely a Tyrolean 'themed' restaurant and we loved it. We had the Bauernschmauss (i think it was called!) which consisted of a vast platter of sausages, smoked and other meats, fried potatoes, sauerkraut etc......superb. Live music in the form of yodelling and accordian playing, excellent Austrian beer and all in all a great experience. London desperately needs more German/Austrian restaurants

This is a crazy restaurant, with staff dressed in traditional dress, and playing traditional music. Almost don't notice the menu..... which is also traditional, tho a bit sparse on the vegetarian side. Cheese fondu highly recommended if you fancy something fun and different.
