It used to get ten out of ten for ambience, it was a quaint little place, they shut down for three months and now have reopened with a much cleaner brighter look. I liked the cranky dirty decor, but the new look is inoffensive. it's a bit like your nan having a facelift, you liked the original but you can see why they did it.

The staff are brilliant helpful and attenetive, but best of all the food!

Stunningly good chips, fish, seafood dishes.

Where else can you get a good spam fritter!

The puddings are a bit of a heat up and eat job and the wine list is unexceptional (why no bubbly to go with the food?)

But if you want good fish and chips there's none better in London.

Worth visiting England again just to see that gorgeous cook for a 2nd time!  Oh, right and the food was good, too... Did I mention the cook?  :)

The lack of charming ambiance is more than made up for by service adequate to good and food that is purely wonderful. In many years of travel to London (from the U.S.) we have never had a disappointing meal at Seafresh. Last trip the portions had decreased in size and the menu prices had increased, but the owner tried to hold the line as best he can. I love this place! (If only they wouldn't try to pass off 7-Up on me when I ask for Lemonade! I want the fizzy Schweppes stuff!) Otherwise, everything's good from the prawn or smoked salmon appetizers to the deep fried haddock or cod (I prefer the former) and grilled Dover sole.

One of my top three London fish and chip shops. Fish always very fresh, large portions, reasonable prices.
