Delightfully tacky and unsophisticated, The Roadhouse is the only place in Covent Garden where you can get a bottle of beer for a quid (happy hour only). With American diner decor and live music every night, it's a good cheap night out if you visit early in the week and get there for happy hour.

The food is good enough and the dancefloor has enough room to burn off a few calories afterwards. As usual for Covent Garden the barstaff are a bit up their own arses but at least here (unlike the nearby Navajo Joes and Tiger Tiger) they give you the right change.

Overall a fun night out.
