The name has surpassed it's quality, at least for this Nobu branch. Sushi was good, but nothing out of the ordinary. Speciality dishes were simply below par: the snow crab in creamy spicy sauce was overwhelmed by the spicyness, which made it impossible to taste the crab. The crispy pork should just be removed from the menu. Had to chew myself out of the beef kushiyashi, just not what you expect of a 'star' restaurant.

The place itself is overcrowded, too many tables in too little space. Very little decoration.

I went there with a friend Friday night and we ordered about seven courses. Without doubt, food was tasty, especially the Teriyaki beef and the Black Cod, but wouldn't say excellent. Staff was friendly, but, e.g. not confident in suggesting a suitable accompanying wine. I would expect that (or at least the presence of a sommelier) in such a restaurant. The loud and busy athmosphere blurred the overall impression.

Of course, the Nobu London is a nice restaurant, but to sum it up, I am quite sceptic about the price/performance ratio.
For me, it seems, the Nobu is more a restaurant for the scene than for somebody, who really loves excellent food.

I think Nobu London is a great place to go for dinner. The food is really interesting and the service is very charming. The yellowtail sashimi with the jalapeno pepper were one of my favourite with the californian roll. The menu is vert complete with a vaste choice of dishes. Don't forget the bar by ordering minimum a japanese bloody Mary (exotic and spiced perfectly).
