1st lesson...arrive well before 8:30 (even if you've booked for 8:30) as this place gets packed and they can't guarantee a table after then. I had expected the usual "tapas style" rustic decor and was quite surprised to see 50's american diner style tables (tall, round), chrome chairs etc. I'm not sure if this "fusion" is quite what a tapas restaurant needs...prefering the wooden rickety table, old plates hanging from plaster walls and so on. It just didn't seem very spanish. We were made to feel at home though with friendly, attentive service and there is a diverse menu for both carnivores (me) and herbivores (the girlfriend) made up of small tapas and raciones dishes - 3 dishes per person seems just about right. We reckon the best on the menu are the garlic tiger prawns....very tasty! Otherwise, the atmosphere is good - mainly made up of the younger set having a few glasses of Sangria and a bit to eat before going out on the town. The meal set us back about 25 pounds each including a bottle of wine and a huge jug of Sangria so very reasonably price. Ultimately...a good place for a relaxed evening with a few friends but not somewhere if you're looking for a romantic, medstyle night out.....

Food RatingLoved the food! Service RatingThe service was okay Ambience RatingDidn't like the ambience

Thought the food was very tasty. We got quite a few different dishes and shared them. Their Sangria's are fabulous. Best I have ever tasted.
We had to wait quite a while for a table.
The place was quite noisy. fortunately the nice waitress put us in a back table and we were also better from the cigarette smoke as everyone seemed to have cigarette's and we did not smoke.
The food seemed to appear at our table in good time.
It seems like a place where the young seem to go and most of our table was much older. In fact I think we were the oldest there.

If you want some good food then this is the place to go
