I cannot take the previous comments seriously. This was not my experience. Piaf has improved immensely. It is my regular haunt and my experience particularly in the last year is that they have produced very good food and the service is always fast and friendly. The menu choices are excellent and the lamb shank is a favourite. The manager goes out of his way to look after customers and the surroundings are bright and cheerful.

After my last visit 8 months ago i was very reluctant to step through the doors again. Chaotic and uninformative waiters matched the delays in drinks and food service. On this visit i was pleasently greeted at the door and we received excellent service all through our meal despite the busy weekend luch trade. Drinks and food were promptly delivered without the feel of being rushed. A very nice bottle of Chilen Merlot accompanied a tender Lamb Shank and Guinea Fowl with an Avocado, Tomato &  Mozzerella salad. For dessert the home made Baoffee Pie and Belgium Waffle with walnut ice-cream were a perfect ending. I look forward to stepping through those doors again. A huge improvement. Well Done Le Piaf.
