What is the London Street FoodBank?

What is the London Street FoodBank?

Find out how approximately 20 tonnes of food per year is put to good use instead of throwing it away...

The London Street Foodbank is a co-operative organisation that shares out donated food on the streets of London to homeless people.

If you have a couple of spare hours a week, you can volunteer to distribute food or collect it from the businesses that donate it.

Or perhaps you work in the food industry (e.g. a restaurant, sandwich shop, catering, food processing, wholesaler etc.) and would like to donate produce or excess food instead of throwing it away?

In addition to food, basic toiletries and clothing such as hats, gloves and scarfs can also be donated and are gratefully received by the organisation.
